I am considering purchasing the stay n charge to use with the batteries in my fish house. After reading the info on its HSOforum it seems that it's basically just a wire to run from your battery with a circuit breaker and connector inline. I was wondering if this is true. Also does this put extra strain on the alternator in the vehicle and a deep cycle battery I thought was supposed to be charged kinda slow or it will lose some of it's capacity. Just looking for others opinion on this and people who have used it and how it has worked for them. Thanks.
