Need some help

I'm not sure if i'm posting in the right area but i just bout a 86 sylvan backtroller and 86 evinrude. well the motor cuts out on top end and they just put a new fuel pump and gas tank and gas line?? Does Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

Probably got some dirt in the carb. I have had the same problem twice now. Take it in to get cleaned or do it yourself if you can and check your tank for rust or dirt inside it.

the carbs just had been rebuilt last friday and new plastic tank and new gas line also

This may sound obvious, but fuel filter?

Just totally cuts out or falters? Totally cutting out would lean towards electrical in my humble opinion.

I would say electrical too, powerpack or coils. Tough to say without actually try motor
