Deep Cycle Battery Question

RonZych

Question

If I buy a new deep cycle battery and take it up north camping. Where there isnt any elecricity available to charge it. After a days use with fishkid and fishinmike in the boat it will be run down and be finished for the weekend. Will this ruin it before I can get home and put it on a charger? Or is there a certain kind that could handle this type of situation.

Thanks,

Ron

You should be fine... I've run down batteries in my ice house and didn't get them on a charger for a couple days and they seemed no worse for wear...

Good Luck!

You should be fine..

There are other alternates.. charge the battery.. stay-n-charge(I believe thats the name) charges the battery off your vehicle. There are a couple other options.. solar, etc.. but for a little gas, you could continue to use the battery all weekend.

I believe they sell them on the site here... might be wrong.
