I am looking seriously at the LCX-15MT and was thinking of getting the dual frequency 50 / 200 transducer because the wider angle of the 50 allows me to see downrigger balls.
Is there any disadvantage to having a dual frequency other than initial cost? May I assume I can opt to use the 200 or the 50 alone?
