I am looking seriously at the LCX-15MT and was thinking of getting the dual frequency 50 / 200 transducer because the wider angle of the 50 allows me to see downrigger balls. Is there any disadvantage to having a dual frequency other than initial cost? May I assume I can opt to use the 200 or the 50 alone?
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
