Do-it molds company has some ice jigs in there.. but it was very limited the last I looked...

In all honesty, a person is better off looking at the Cabela's online catalog and buying unpainted jigs from there. They have most the common designs for ice fishing. I dont remember offhand who carries the blades for sodering to a hook for lightweight jigs.. but I'm sure they wouldnt be hard to find.

This would eliminate the hassle and expense of pouring lead and buying molds... in the end you will only have to paint. A person would have to make 1000's of jigs to make it cost effective to get into pouring them.. even if your doing it comercially your better off buying them in bulk(learned hard way).

I would agree 100% as I bought a whole outfit too melt and pour lead and rarely use it because of the limited molds. There are hundreds of different jig molds (the round head type) as well as weights but not much for ice fishing type lures. I would definetly go with the unpainted lures bulk.
Cheers!!

You can buy ice jig bodies, hooks and the solder to put them together at Jann's Netcraft. I have thought about getting some for my son to put together, could be a fun project when we can't be fishing.
