G3 boats

does anyone know much about G3? I was looking at their Angler V175 C, if anyone knows anything about this boat, it is much appreciated.

I looked at the G3 boats ( made by Yamaha) a few years back. Hoots marine in Rosemount carried them before they had to close shop. They had a nice HSOforum that showed the floor plans etc... I thought they were real nice boats. kind of reminded me of the Crestliner brand. I never did piull the trigger on one - because I just didnt know too much about the history on them compared to a Crestliner or Lund. I am still in the market - and will probably stick to a Crusty or a Lund - only because I didnt see that the price for the G3 was any less for a compareable Crusty or Lund - and maybe even a little more. Nice looking boats though - I too would like to hear from anyone who has owned a G3.

Do not get one i have one bought it in 2004 and i hate it. The are almost the same price as a Crestliner so just get one of them. The first thing i dont like about them is the hull is is a very rough ride. the second thing is that lots of thins brake on it and the other thing is that the bunks on it scrach it when you load it on the trailer. So please do what i should of done and buy a crestliner.

My father is most likely getting a new lund anyway. I was just wondering what the scoop was on them.
