Craw type baits and this opener

With us catching spawn (depending on each lake of course) wouldn't craw type plastics and jigs with trailers be a logical choice in shallow areas.

I would think dragging them a bit through nesting areas would trigger strong strikes. Craws should be a nesting predator.

Of course, let's let them go -- given the time of the year and nesting.

Randy, anything dragged threw a bed could get strikes. I really dont think that craws are shallow this time of the year.. I could be way wrng on this. I myself have never used craw plastics for bed fishing. I usually tend to go with tubes, 4" worms, or lizzards..

Give it a shot however, it may work wonderfull for you.
