trout streams in winona

i go to college at winona state and need to find a place to fish for my addiction, any help would be great, ive fished garvin brook in a few spots but never had much success

Pick up 'Trout Angling Oppurtunities in Southern Minnesota' a map book which was just put out by the DNR. It's at outdoors stores, bait shops, and if you can't find it there you can get a pdf version off the DNR HSOforum. You've got a ton of opportunities within 10-30 minutes of Winona for trout. There's all sorts of good fishing to be had in and around Whitewater State Park...that's pretty close for you.
