My eduated guess tells me that they will be exactly at 8.421 ft wink.gif. Any bait out of that one thousandth of an inch range will just be laughed at by pike...just having fun with ya.

oops...Yeah I see that now. Would you guess that I just finished up the year in college? It must have been all them finals confused.gif.

What I meant to say was that the pike will be found at 8 feet, 421 inches (thats better grin.gif)...Thats where I'll start to target them.

Pikemaster101, I'm really not sure what depth to start out at. All the information I have been reading in the past few months has been about walleyes, and I still haven't made up my mind of where to start for them confused.gif.

I'm going to throw the deep weedlines in hopes for a few toothies this weekend. Maybe even pitch a few baits in shallow too, I donno. I do know one thing, if the walleyes are off, I'll be playing with the pikers! smile.gif

Good Fishin,

Matt Johnson
