Rod Holders

Any suggestions on horizontal rod holders?I need to add some on a Lund Rebel.Thanks for any info.

I bought some a few weeks ago from Gander that are Scotty brand. I bought them specifically because I can moubt them on my rear deck. They seem really nice, I will find out for sure this weekend.

Are you looking for rod holders while fishing? Or rod holders for storage. For the fishing type: With the Scotty brand you have to be careful because they do not lock into place. I've never lost one myself, but I've had 3 or 4 different people in my boat drop it in the water when they were removing their rods. Good brand though. I would suggest drilling a hole in the shaft of the holder itself and putting a cotter pin in there to lock it in place.

Looking for rod holders for storage.I checked Gander,but they seemed on the cheap side.

The scottys I bought lock in place. I just put the holder in facing the inside of the boat and rotate towards the water and they lock. I really like them. I have 4 of them on my boat now and use them for walleyes, trout and those screaming salmon so you know there good.
