Are smallies open year round on LOTW Ontario side?

It would be wise to check with the regulations but I believe that smallies season is open all year on LOTW. It is on Rainy. (wish it would be changed a little in the fall). I would like to see a size limit imposed in the fall much like in Minnesota. They got it right. You can fish for them but you can't keep any after September 1. Beautiful!!
