Boat Seats

Seabass77

Question

I am looking for some camo boat seats for my boat. I am looking at the Cabelas Camo angler seats and the tempress seats, also at cabelas.

I would prefer not to fork over the cash for the tempress seats if the Cabelas Camo Angler Seats will fit the bill.

Has anyone tried these? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Haven't used the cabela's brand.

What I can tell you is the past years I worked at Gander Mountain, people came in by the swarms to buy (the brand name escapes me) their boat seats when they were on sale. Could never keep camo and red/grey in stock!

Decent priced for good seats.

Thanks Frank. I've heard that too. It seems that most companies are using plastic nowadays anyway. I stopped by gander after work today and tried out the wise seat. Too small for me. I'm going to head to cabelas in a week or so and I'll report back what I find. Can't wait to get my new basswood/Sag/Duck rig on the water.

Depending on how much of a hurry you are in, there are usually a few on hsolist. I just bought a used set of seats on there (not camo) and ended up being from a local guy. There are lots of new and used seats to fit about any want or need including all of the major brands and some noname.

It may be worth a look.

I ended up with the cabelas high back camo angler seats. The big man seats I was contemplating were too big for me. Although the tempress seats were very nice, I just didn’t think they were worth twice as much. The cabelas seats were recently redesigned and have incredible value. Great fabric and foam, very sturdy frame. For $50 a seat, a great value.
