carp hunting

I was wondering if you are obligated to keep carp when you shoot them. I'm not sure what the rules are here in MN. I know in ND people don't care if you just throw them back into the water. I am guessing you are supposed to keep them but most people don't. Thanks

Yeah,by law you must take them home with you. They can't go back into the water or on the shore of the water you are on. Now what do you do with them? I usually just bury them. There really is nothing to do with them. You can try to smoke them, but thats up to you.

Give smoking them a try, I think you'll like it. Poor carp don't get any respect
