Anyone fish this lake early in the spring after iceout? Have heard it can be a real good lake. Never fished it myself, but was thinking of trying it one of these upcoming weekends. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've fished it from shore a couple times. Limited out on northerns both times fish bewtween 3-4 pounds I threw back everything larger and smaller. All in all it was good shore fishing I have no complaints as far as fishing in boats I haven't done that but plan on trying it this year maybe this weekend.
