Where to go?

I know this is a broad question, but my brother lives in Eau Claire, my dad is in Iowa and I am in the twin cities and we want to find a decent lake in Wisconsin to fish in early august. I know the eye's can be tough but the northerns usually turn on at that time. we would only need a camp ground, no cabin........any ideas of lakes and resorts would be great. Mom and Pop kind of places are what I like more than anything........

it would probably be a weekend so I am pretty sure we would be dealing with crowds, but anyone have any lakes they like? I would even consider state campgrounds on out of the way lakes.
