? for the experts

OK experts, I need a little help finding what some fairly old/really old pike/muskie plugs might be worth.Some look like they are homemade, some look like they are repainted and some look like they are still original. The easiest way would be to take them somewhere or do some looking on the net.I could take some pics too,If you think you might be able to help too. Thanks for any help.

Stubby1. i collect, buy, and sell old lures and if i know what ya got i will tell you what they're worth. a few guys from the FM HSOforum have emailed me pics of lures to evaluate. the big money lures are the kents, deckers, haskells, woods, heddons, moonlites, harris, mohawks, paw paws. some south bends, shakespeares, and ccbc's are worth a few bucks too. lures made by these manuf. can be worth 100's to several thousand dollars. a haskell minnow sold for about 20 grand a few years ago. if your lures are in boxes, all the better. some lures are worth much more sentimentally, than in cash value. if your lures are amatuer repaints they can be worthless, and most home made lures aren't worth too much in cash value either, unless they are originals from the old bait makers. i am getting ready to put a bunch of lures on hsolist very shortly. all wood, with glass eyes, and in boxes, mostly old heddons. hsolist is a place you may also want to investigate. you may find your lures there. click on vintage sporting goods and go from there. good luck. later, keebo.
