FL-10 transducers

Looking for any advise on puck transducer vs. high speed transducer, the unit is going to mounted in the dash so the puck would go in the back by the plug. I have a 17" StarCraft aluminum boat.

Any first hand experience with either style would be great,

You will need the high speed transducer. It is simple to mount. You will love the FL-10. It's an awesome unit.

Also look at the new Aluma ducers from Vex. They seem like a pretty good transducer also. I have never tried them though, so I couldn't tell you much about it.
