Turkey parasites.

For the second year now, I have noticed lice-like parasites under the feathers of my turkey while I pluck it. They are sort of clear and large for parasites(as long as 1/8"). Today I kept feeling something in my hair. About 30 minutes after cleaning the bird, I found one in my hair. What are they? Can they survive on a human? Are they bad for you? Bugged out.
