spring panfish lakes

Was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for spring panfish in the N.E. part of South Dakota? Thinking of heading out there next weekend to try some open water fishing. I have heard ES has some nice sunnies and crappies in it. Does anyone know if it is good in the early spring? I'm not real familiar with a lot of the lakes in the area, so some help with directions would be much appreciated also. Thanks! Goodluck this fishing season.

Waubay has some monster crappies if you can find them. Also South Buffalo had some gills and crappies. Ememy Swim is also a good choice.
