Older Johnson outboard oil/gas mix question

I have just got a older 1960's 75 hp johnson outboard and I was wondering what the oil/gas mix should be? any kind of help would be great I have no idea what the mix should be this is my first boat thanks in advance

1964 and newer 50:1

I believe it's a 1960 motor does anyone know the mix on that year? 50-1?

Johnson outboards made '64 and earlier need a mix of 24:1 or even 18:1. These enjines use oil impregnated bronze sleeve bearings that need a lot of oil to stay lubricated.
