Good place to ride near Elk River?

Just wondering if there were any decent trails in the Elk River area? Or anywhere reasonably distance from there? Any tips appreciated.

there is none. ditches are closed south of hwy 95 april 1 till aug 1. and the sand dune state forest is no longer open for any thing except snowmobiles.

there are trails near camp riply and near mille lacs, red top trails. but they are usually closed till the end of april due to the frost coming out, and are too wet.
