how much would it cost my buddy from home to get a trout license for a weekend or so and how much does a residents cost just curious becuase i havnt bought mine yet since i am a lucky guy and go to school and gt residential in wi and mn..

Are you asking about Minnesota fishing license or Wisconsin?

I don't think you need a stamp in either state if your just fishing for a day.

In MN. Trout stamp is needed if on designated trout waters, or if you plan to KEEP a trout caught on other waters. In MN. Trout stamp is $10.00. In WI. they have a trout stamp for Great Lakes fishing and another stamp for other inland trout fishing. I think WI. gets $10.00 per stamp.

wisconsin is 7.25 i belive..but they are going up this year.. but yea i was wondering for mn license 10 bucks isnt bad..

o yea thats 10 i belive inland is 7.25 might be more i just turn 18 last year now 19 so i got my prices mixed up from jr to sr license.
