Anyone shot them yet? What do you think of them? I'm thinking of getting a Doz 340's with 4" quick spins and 100 grn tips to shoot from my S.B. 65lbs 29" draw. How do you think this will work for me? Is this spined OK. Enough KE for Elk? Other set up recomended? Shooting cx300's now, with 85grn tips 288fps. Don't like the lack of toughness in the cx300's. Thanks,

Dan - am curious why you don't think the CXs are tough.

I've had them splinter or crack at the insert, just hitting a new 3-d target in the vitals.

I can see why that would cause you not to trust em. On the other hand, I've had good luck with them. Ever check into the Goldtips?

I am looking at the hunter pro. Still can't decide,and now, all the arrow prices have shot up!

I have alwasy shot gold tips and have had no complaints about them at all. They seem to be very durable. I shoot them 5575s and know that that size arrow can take down an elk.
