Pellet Guns

Can someone tell me, do I need case a pellet gun, being it is not a firearm?

If you are in your car with an un-cased pellet gun, you're in for a long day.

If you are walking around a metropolitan area with an uncased pellet gun, you are in for a long day.

You may want to practice dropping your air gun gun and raising your hands in a smooth, simultanious motion.

Why on earth would you want to transport this un-cased? It is every bit as much for your safety as the general publics.
