Hey guys this is a don't miss seminar!

I have learned a lot about catfishing from Ed and in my opinion is one of the best catmen in the north. Check out his seminar.

Ah.....a Good point Dark30. It will be at the Fargo Gander Mountain store in the lodge.

Here is the details as it can be a tricky place to find the first time out. The Red River/Fargo Zoo is about where the letters "ER" in Gander Mountain is on the map.

Thanks all for showing up, you were a great group. Lots of good questions and I like the open exchange format to get the info out your most interested in.

If you liked my seminar and you would wish to see more along these lines be sure to let the folks at Gander Mtn. Know, so they will schedule more. They appreciate the comments both good and bad on the quality of the seminars and I too appreciate the attendee comments. Preferably, for the good Eh. LOL!! grin.gif

I hope to recruit a top Flathead catfish guide to come over soon and do a seminar on Flatty Tactics, maybe a sturgeon specialist too...that would be cool!

Perry Good PWT Pro will be here on Sat the 10th so if you’re free, check that out. Should be an interesting deal to attend and there should be some good tips on new walleye tactics shared. Check in at the store for the time he will be in, I am not sure of that right now.

The rivers are flattening out so it will not be long now. Cats should be on the move now and cacheable. Slow bite at first, then increasingly getting better. Smaller cuts will be the key; a wad of crawlers should get the ball rolling for cats or for some good cat bait.

Go get um Eh!

Thanks again for attending my Spring Cats seminar!

Eddy: to bad mommie is on pegs until the 25th of this month or I might have been able to convince Stu for going on a drive. These horses and puppy really tie me down with her laid up. I have almost convinced Stu that I am retired and HOPEFULLY I won't be guiding so much this summer, (even though I enjoy the people) so maybe we can get on the Red for more than an hr or so. I am sure we can swap some lies and alittle talk. Season opens the 14th and the Red looks like it is going to co-operate. All the ice is off and it is flowing great guns.

So, are U going to make it the 14th?????

Canuck that would have been great, sure wish you and Stu could have made the trip. The crowd would have very much enjoyed your input and attendance as highly respected Cat Pro's. I was plugging “Cats on the Red” in a big way at this event, so it would have played right into the seminar format. That would have been a big bonus for them and a good break from listening to me.

Attendance was great, full house and then some. Experienced and new catfisherman/catfisherwoman/catfisherkids alike attended. Great questions and it ran long so we could get as much covered as possible.

I showed off some new products from Gamakatsu, Frabill, Scenic Tackle, Power Pro, Berkley IronSilk, ABU & Guide Series reels, Rods By Engel, Gama Tech leader material, and a nifty new tackle box system from NightRanger that has it's own LED lighting...and a few other sneaky new tricks for the cat'r.

A Great crowd and there is no doubt in my mind that catfishing is growing as a sport in the region as well as internationally.

The 14th...Ya You-bet-chya..Eh...Cork'n Sucks Bredeson and I will be there for sure so make sure Stu has us on "Da Books" for that weekend and maybe a bit longer if I can free up more time.

We have some walleye and cats to catch here first. Walleye are on and the cats are staring to show interest. So for now, we can get into training for the big Sumo Kitties up north and polish up our dormant winter worn catfishing skills.

See ya then Eh!
