Aluminum Dock

Hello. Am thinking about purchasing an aluminum roll-in dock at the boat show in a few weekends. Have scouted out the different brands and come to the conclusion, based on functionality, price, and the dealer who sells the dock, to purchase a Hewitt roll-a-dock. Anyone have any experience with these? Any suggestions on decking material, configurations, etc.? We are thinking of going about 32 foot out with no extra attachments at this time. That will put us in about 3 - 4 feet water for my father-in-law's boat lift -- who sold us the land : )

I bought a new aluminum dock last year. I think it is a Hewitt. We got a 32' and a 48' section and an 'L' section. It worked very nice last year. We got the "skidgard" laminated wood on top. It's still slippery when wet though. I'd recommend Hewitt but I can't say how robust it is since we've only had it about a year.
