TheJester
I was wondering if anyone knows the Minnesota DNR rule for accessing a lake through a public right away? There is a lake that is spiting distance away from the road that I would like to fish it but I am not sure if I can access it from the road. bassman222
As far as I know the rightaway distance is different for different roads...If the body of water is within this distance it is legal to access. Also, if there a culvert/bridge near the lake you can access there legally if you stay on the body of water connecting to the lake. fishin789
look up the county that the lake is located on the internet and see if that county has a plat map. it should show the right of ways. if not you can go to the county offices and look at the map there.
