ICEMASTER1940
Glad to see there are still some hard water people out there. I haven't been out for several weeks. The last time was at Granby and I didn't do all that well but, my wife caught several and had a good time so I had a good time. I'm thinking about Granby again this weekend. I know the ice is all right but I always watch the edges this time of year. Dan - I haven't heard one positive thing about Wolford this year, have you? <'((<
lucky7
Dan:Heading up with the family for three days in Fraser. The family will ski and I'm hitting the ice. Was thinking Grandby once and the Fork once. Hope the ice is o.k.
ICEMASTER1940
For what it's worth - I fished Granby yesterday. From 6:30 a.m. until about 9:30 a.m. I caught and released maybe 15 mac's in the 18" to 20" class. After that the fish had lock jaw. I still marked fish but got very few hits. The ice was great, maybe 20". The edges off of Sunset Point appeared to be in great shape also. As much as I enjoy camping and fishing for Walleye and Crappie I still hate to see ice season end. Maybe one more trip. <'((<
John19
Master, great job! I fished Granby last Monday & Wed with little success. Monday around the Dike 3 area caught a couple with a few bites, but they were hitting very lightly. Wed, I fished all over the Sunset point area with no luck at all. Not even a bite! I really had a difficult time finding deeper water. I covered alot of area. all the way out to the boat dock area. Someone I talked to later said that with the water running in, I should of fished closer to that area, since many fish are attracted to the moving water. Fished Williams Fork, on Friday and had a good day. nothing huge, but caught 8 in a couple of hours. John
lucky7
Fished Granby on Monday and Tuesday the 21st and 22nd. White out on Monday and 46 degrees on Tuesday. Marked three fish and caught two. Need to go with one of you Granby experts to learn the lake. Also hit Willow Creek and caught a couple Bows. Still a great trip...Beat sitting at a desk!
