I am going to school in fargo currently and, as there are no lakes close by for my traditional fishing, I have been looking into fishing Cats on the Red River. I was wondering where some good areas are if anyone knew. I have never fished for cats before but have always wanted to, and I figure now's the perfect chance. Thanks.

Welcome to FM. Catfishing in the Red River can be awesome. I know the fishing gets alot better the further north you go but I have a feeling there are a number of kitties around the Fargo area. There are a few guys online here who might be able to help you out.

Click this link and check out the Red River, Otter Tail, & Bois de Sioux forum. There should be enough info and folks willing to help out to get you started.
