Yellow Bird planer boards

Looking at buying some of these for trolling for eyes,and wondering how they work for this and are they worth using?

Hiya,

Just my $.02, but you might be happier with a ballasted board like the Church Tackle walleye board or the Offshore brand. Better releases, and better performance if you're pulling leadcore or fishing in waves. I've been using both brands for several years, and have been happy with them. Tried Yellow Birds a bit, and didn't think they were nearly as good in terms of performance and ability to ride waves.

I have to yellow birds they dive as soon as the waves pick up get some off shore brand and tattle flags they work the best

I prefer the Offshore brand with the tattle flags. Work great when Im alone or only running a few board lines.
