any fellow flatlanders into catfishing? the talk on the catfish board has me very interested in trying out these "new" fish. only ever caught them by accident before...now i'm wanting to try them on "purpose"!

Never fished for monsters in the rivers but have caught my share on purpose when fishing on the chain of lakes. Fun to catch em, fight em in and let them go. Never HUGH ones but some nice fighters. Cool to catch with the kids off my family's pier on Lake Marie. If you're ever at Blarney Island on Grass Lake ask Clem about some that he catches in the early morning off the pier there. He has some good stories to tell and they are true.
