JJJJJMeyer
I have a 30 year old Jiffy model 30 with an 8" blade. I am thinking of upgrading to a more modern 9" drill. Anyone have an idea on what my old drill may be worth. It is in good shape and has never let me down, but it could use a tune up. I have a few people that I know that are interested, but I don't know what to tell them what I want for it.
PierBridge
The most bullet proof indestructible auger ever made they do not die ever.I would keep it more then likely all it needs is a diaphragm kit.IMO it's worth between $75 and $150 dollars. woodyjdh
I just bought a 8" Jiffy model 30, approx. 30 yrs old this summer. I believe I gave $30 or $35.00 for it. It sure looks like it has been to H-E-double toothpicks and back, but some fresh gas, clean up the plug and a new blade later, she cuts with the best of'em! I also ran across a deal for a model 30 that was 5 yrs old, 10" Jiffy for $125.00 so I picked it up, too sweet of a deal not too. Fresh gas, cleaned/gapped the plug, and now I have 2. TurnUpTheFishing
I picked up and older model 8" jiffy not exactly sure how old, but I payed $100. It was good to me all winter or atleast until the pull rope stopped rewinding a week back. Still looking to get it fixed up.

JJJJJMeyer
PierBridge, I totally agree with your assessment. It has drilled holes for three generations of my family. I feel like I am betraying my family by thinking of selling it. Maybe I should see if the wife will let me put it up in the wall above the fireplace.
