Anyone have one of these? Likes & dislikes? I thought for the price it would be a good entry level unit. Looking for some feedback.

Do you guys think the LCD would be a problem in the cold?

Its under 100 bucks and you can hardly go wrong but pay a little more and get something thats much better. You'll be glad you did. I first thought it may be OK for the BWCA because of the size and the 4 AA batteries but I think I'd rather carry the extra weight and use something better.

I have one. Paid $70 for it. It reads fish all the time, so I agree that its not very accurate. But I use it strictly for getting depths, to which it works fine. One model has a temp. reader, but I don't know how much more it costs.
