Beaver Lake report

Fished Beaver Lake tonight for a couple of hours tonight. Caught 1 19inch walleye at about 5:30pm. Was the only one I caught. The ice was about 9-10 inches at the most.

It's East of Humbolt, SD. You can see from I-90 south side.

I fished Beaver again 2/22/05 from 3pm to 7pm. Did not mark much on the Vex. Caught 1 carp on a jig and minnow and 1- 4inch bullhead on a tip-up. I think I will start trying some place else now (so the fish should start biting there since I am going to try some where else next time.) The gamewarden said that he has seen a few small walleyes caught though, and a couple of perch. Maybe it is an early in the day bite since I don't get there till late in the day. Good luck.
