I've owned my LX-3 for two years and I've had the exact same experience as LocalGuide. The FL-18 owned by Mr.Pike1 kicks the dump out of my LX-3 when fishing side by side in the same house. Doesn't matter the depth. The IR feature doesn't work too well in my humble opinion.
