styx
Heading accross the border for the first time this weekend with my brother. We plan on fishing crappies on LOW in the afternoon and lake trout fishing on Crow in the morning. I have gotten some tips from the resort and will be renting a snowmobile from them. has anyone fished Crow lake before and can give me any advice. I picked up some tube jigs and have the usual crappie jigs already.thanks.
Captain B.R.K
Muskie Bay Lodge will have the spots for you to fish....don't worry about that We were up there 2 years ago and nailed crappies out off their private access they have to LOTW. All 10-12" crappies---SLAB crappies. They have minnows and that for you to use. As for wax worms and that, there is a nice bait shop on the right hand side of the HWY south of their place about 10-15 miles. As for lures for lake trout, you assortment of tubes in whites, sparkle, etc. will be fine. Have fun......we had a blast for the crappies when we were up there. Lake trout fishing was pretty slow.
