On Feb 14 the 106th annual running of the National Birddog Championship begins. So far 34 dogs have qualified for the National. They run 3 hr braces off horseback hunting for wild and liberated quail. Only one setter qualified this year but he's a heck of dog. I'll be rooting for him.
