fan interference

Last fall I put a 12 volt oscillating fan in my perm. fish house,It really works great keeping the carpet dry and the temp. nice inside. The fan is made to plug into a cig lighter I have it hooked to my marine batteries. The problem is that the fan really interferes with my vexlar and my radio. I know some spark plugs have resistors to help with this in cars, does anyone know if there is something to put on here to help?

i also have a vex and a 12 volt fan in my shack- I do not get any interference. maybe try a different fan?

Do you have them both hooked up to the same battery? If so, try them on separate batteries and see what happens.
