Hey Guys-

I am brand new here, but have a few ideas on how to the make the forums a bit better.

1) Break up the Ice Fishing topic into a few parts like area, species, etc. The way the topic is now it gets long very quickly and you have to go through a few pages just to see the newer stuff.

2) Add a spearing forum. Would love to chat epsecially with my spearing colleagues...hard to do in the main Ice Fishing section.

Thanks! Looking forward to being a part of this site!

DUDE! you need to page down on the main index. There are a few state-wide and a whole bunch of regional areas. The regional areas talk hard water in the winter and soft water in the summer. And if you page down even further, there's listings for species, ie. Trout, bass, walleye, etc.

I dont know how you found this forum, but to access ALL the sub-forums try going here..................

I hope this helps.

BTW, welcome.

Spaten.. Welcome to FishingMinnesota.com... great to have you on board.. We do already have species spacific pages.. if you get to the main page of forums..

http://www.fishingminnesota.com/forum/ubbthreads.php

and look near the bottom, you will see each species of fish.. However you are correct, I don't think we have a Spearing page... if you have spearing questions, I would say this ice fishing forum would be the place to ask!!!!
