behmer
I think that I might be going to Wolford this weekend, or back to the Fork, would be great if the ice at Chatfield was good and solid but I will have to wait for the report on conditions before heading that way. John19
I'll be staying close to home, "HURRAY". Probably Boyd. Lake John & 11-mile have tourneys this weekend, could be a madhouse out there.
Chewy
I'm going to fish Granby this weekend. The ice should be good and solid. I think I'll fish for big macks early and head to Columbine Bay mid-morning and fish for small macks and rainbows.

QuickRelease
Hi guys,I'm back. Haven't been on the ice yet this season. Been concentrating on geese. Anyway, I'm getting my equipment organized and hope to see you on the hard water soon.
Chewy
Behmer, It is still a long walk especially with the snow on top of the ice. The shortest path as you are probably aware is from Dike 3 north to the Bay. I suppose you could back track from the spillway at Shadow Mountain but the walk probably wouldn't be any shorter. Also the walk back up from the spillway to the parking lot would be brutel.
Chewy
Sorry I misread your message and thought you were asking about Grand/Columbine bay. Arapaho Bay can be reached from Dike 3 or anywhere east along County Road 6 that leads to the river that dumps into Arapaho Bay from Monarch Lake. Make sure you park along the road in a designated parking area or you'll get a ticket. Also make sure you buy a day use pass. You can park at the end of the Bay and get pretty close to the boat ramp for access to the lake. The plow trucks clean the road all the way to Arapaho Bay campground where they turn around. Good Luck!
behmer
will be going to Green Mntn on Friday to pre-fish and locate some bigger fish, traveling light and moving around most of the day. I still don't know if I am going to fish it Saturday, all depends on work schedule. I will let you all know the where and the how, I was able to catch and locate.
