ice series event start?

when 8:00 comes around and its time to start do we all have to start at once from the same location. or can are gear be set up on our first spot ahead of time and then when it starts we just head to out spot or fish house. basicaly what im asking is can i set up my portable ahead of time?

The answer is no. Everyone must check in with their gear and take off from the same spot @ 8:00.
