Map software for Garmin ETrex series

Does anyone have any advice for lake map software for a Garmin ETrex Lengend? I'm thinking of purchasing the Garmin US Recreational Lakes and Fishing Hotspots software. It appears to have decent topo maps of most lakes even if they aren't included in the Hotspots list. I'm also not real techy so I'm not sure if I can use other brands or have to use Garmin.

Garmin does have software you can purchase and load onto your GPS. I hear it's great, I haven't taken the plunge yet. It's available at most sporting goods store ie: Gander, Galyans etc. Cost is about 100 bucks.

for the ones with minnesota lakes only (they have more) are 200 dollars... i wonder if Kazaa...? hehe j/k

The best software available right now Lakemaster hands down. You can either get the CD version, load it onto your computer and then interphase it with you GPS, or get the Chip and load it right onto your GPS. Highly accurate and detailed. You can find it Here
