Auger repair HELP!

Just my luck... New Years Day the 2nd pull on my strikemaster and the recoil string broke. Not the best sign for things to come this year.

Not so sure I want to take it apart myself since I need it working my Friday I need advise as to where to take it to get fixed around St.Cloud.

It is 3 years old and before it broke I could feel some sort of drag on the cord. Could a lawnmower/ snowblower place repair this small engine?

How old of an auger is it? I have the older magnum III and that happened to me. It's not that hard to take off and recoil the rope and put back on. Mine broke about 5" from the handle so I just tied it together, been working ever since.

I dropped it off at the outdoor power equipment place this am. should be back in action by tomorrow. I think they are a little slow with the lack of snow.
