BigDaddy
I always have a hard time remembering the type, test, and age of the line on my spools. This is more difficult when using multiple spools for given reels. So, how do you track this info?
jphersh22
I take the little sticker that they use to hold the end of the line on the packaged spool (at least Trilene uses a sticker). I take a permanent marker and write the test of the line and then stick the sticker on the side of my spool. The sticker holds up pretty well and comes off clean when you want it to. I would think some white electrical tape would work for this as well.
stick
I use a cheap little label printer and use "outdoor" label material. I started this a few years ago, and it works well. I used to use scotch tape to write on and laminate it with another piece of scotch tape.
delmuts
for the spools that are light color, i just used a black marker to mark the inside of the spool( to clean it off, i use a scotch brite pad and some alcohol). for the black ones, i use the little stickers on the inside of the spools. del
gspman
A little piece of masking tape and a sharpie marker do the trick for me.
