Batt. Indicator on Vex

hey, I was wondering if it was just me, but I have never had my battery indicator read "Remove Charger". I talked to a vex guy, he said it rarely goes there, if that is true, why even have it? but just wandering if it was just me.

Mine does get there, at least it used to. I think that my battery is getting older (4years) and it doesn't hold a charge like it used to. I have heard of multiple people though that don't get it to read all the way charged. I'd guess that it's not quite a top of the line piece of equipment (batt indicator not vex) and there is probably room for error.
