frabillfisher Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 My friend got a new eskimo quickflip 2 this fall and we've been out in it both these cold and windy days for about 8 hours both days and i can tell you im very unsatisfied with is's quality...all 4 of the windows have at least one crak in it some 2 and a few of the velcro deals for the u tubes have ripped off...i mean it's a fish house what kind of temps did they think we were gunna use them in?? has anybody else had these problems with there windows? Paradice Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 I haven't gotten mine out yet, but i'm kinda apprehensive now. Did you make sure your windows were lying flat when you folded it up. If you rough up those windows when it's cold, they will crack on you. I had the same problem with the clam. Also, did you lube up your poles before you took it out. I had It out at least once a week last winter and on some days alot windier than the last two with no problems with the windows. Since he bought it this fall I would check out customer service, It could be that the windows were weak from impurities in material during manufacture. I would think that they would replace them.
