Spirit fishing outing on Saturday

Had some friends of mine who went to Spirit (Anglers Bay) on Saturday and they said there is 4 inches of ice. Three inches in some areas, but it was a waste of time because they said that nobody there had seen a fish. They told me that the ice is really clear. I'm thinking that since we don't have any snow cover on the ice that fishing shallow water is going to be tough. But at least we have good ice!!!

Talked to two more people who said there's one and a half inches on Millers bay on Okoboji Sunday afternoon!!!!

Yup. This morning I talked to someone whose brother fished Okoboji on Monday and got skunked.
