Soft plastics and ice fishing

I realize that many of the soft plastics for ice fishing are geared toward being tiny and mainly for panfish. But has anybody ever tried the larger, open-water plastic worms such as senko's for ice fishing? If so, what were the results?

Power shiners by Berkley. walleye Formula have worked ok but in the winter I have much better luck with live bait.

I would definately push the Berkley Power Tubes for lake trout fishing. I have used them in white, emerald shiner, smelt and pearl blue/white- excellent choices.
