Cold weather is finally making its way south from the Arctic and should be arriving into South Dakota by late Satuday night into Sunday. It looks like we will all be ice fishing by Christmas!! smile.gif

Finally made my way on to the ice in SD. Did fairly well considering the ice conditions. It ranged from 1.5" to 8", with some areas of open water. Me and a buddy caught 13 crappies 11-14 inches, and 9 bluegills 8-10 inches. Fish were very finicky and looked at the bait for a long time. My vexilar was crucial to catching fish. I'm not going to disclose the lake I fished, but I'm shure WxMan knows where I was...Shhh.
