MIKE IN lINO III
I bought a camper that has two 40 lb lp tanks. One of them has some fluid in it but when I open up the valve nothing comes out. ( gas )It is not frozen because I brought it home and put it in the garage. Any thoughts??Mike
0 Big-Al
Have you tried to connect an appliance to it? The new valves do not allow a gas flow unless you have something connected.
0 MIKE IN lINO III
Thanks Big AL,I haven't tried to hook it to anything but I will try tonight. The tanks are about 25 years old made of aluminum.
0 efgh
If your tank has a triangular shaped valve handle on it ,it is the newer valve, your valve could have been replaced, you are not suposta be able to get the older tanks with the older round valve handled refilled, as far as the liquid in your tank I would unscrew the valve and empty it out.
